Uncompahgre Peak Winter Summit Sunrise
Sunrise over the San Juan Mountains as seen from the summit of Uncompahgre Peak - Colorado. Uncompahgre Peak is one of my favorite 14er sunrise summits, as it has great views of Wetterhorn Peak and Mount Sneffels - as well as countless others in the San Juans. One of my favorite views! This trip was one of my all time favorites, and certainly one of my favorite images with all of the peaks coated in show. Shortly after this image I splitboarded down Uncompahgre Peak - a fantastic ride! Doesn't get much better than this out in the mountains.

Metal prints via the dye sublimation process result in a glossy, saturated, "pop" presentation. This presentation is light weight, and produces a stunning, eye catching piece. There is a slight glare, so take that into consideration for print placement under significant sunlight. The construction consists of a 1/16” thick aluminum on the face and 3/4” aluminum float backing with aluminum French cleat hanger to create a floating effect. This piece is fully ready to hang without any further requirements.

The fine art wood print process begins with printing on a vibrant metallic paper. This paper is then mounted on a 3/8" thick eco-friendly, acid-free, black wood surface finished with a beveled edge. A satin laminate is applied to reduce reflections, preserve appearance and longevity. The entire piece is then given a ¾” deep backing to create a floating effect. This piece is fully ready to hang without any further requirements.

Acrylic is the gold standard for a fine art print. These pieces are museum quality, will not suffer from aging in any environment, and preserve your piece as it should be. Acrylic offers a 3D "life-like" appearance, truly bringing the image to life. The details are immaculate, crisp, and vivid. The construction consists of a face mounted metallic paper on lens-grade optically clear 1/8″ acrylic, with edges hand polished for a crystal clear look. The piece is finished with a French cleat hanger to create a floating effect 1.25" off the wall.
