bio
Hiking is my passion. I discovered it in Colorado during my time at Colorado State University studying mechanical engineering. The mountains gave me joy, happiness, good times, and a release. Whatever the mood, the backcountry always healed, helped or facilitated well-being and joy.
One year ago I moved to Kansas City, MO for my work. Moving from the mountains felt like ripping my passion from my heart. As humans do, we cope and evolve, as I did to discover similar feelings in nature in my new location. That did not last long; however, as I am now relocated to Colorado! Phew, can't go too long without the mountains!
Photography gives me the chance to help share my feelings, adventures, and experiences with all of you. I hold these images and these places dear to me, and as long as I can hike to explore new places you'll find me with a smile on my face.

As someone who spends every moment of free time in the outdoors, I am a proud member of the Nature First Photography Alliance, and strive to hold these values true:
-
Prioritize the well-being of nature over photography.
-
Educate yourself about the places you photograph.
-
Reflect on the possible impact of your actions.
-
Use discretion if sharing locations.
-
Know and follow rules and regulations.
-
Always follow Leave No Trace principles and strive to leave places better than you found them.
-
Actively promote and educate others about these principles
