Dusk over Sunlight Peak and Chicago Basin as seen from a small tarn. Chiacago Basin is one of the more remote basins to climb 14ers within the state of Colorado and greater San Juan Mountain Range area. It is home to Sunlight Peak, Windom Peak, Eolus Peak, and North Eolus Peak - some of the more rugged 14ers of them all. With the approach beginning on the Durango Silverton Train and being dropped off in the wilderness - it certainly feels different than most. A special place!
